in all these secret sharings of secrets, whisps of my life typed out on a boring night, i can’t help but feel a sense of flamboyancy. blogging never was for me; i didn’t know how to appeal to the public audience. funny, i know. i was never the outward orphan, more like a sheltered shy-away kid. never learnt how to say ‘hi’ to someone voluntarily, never learnt to introduce myself. i had someone to do it for me at points of time. my parents, friends. now i have no one, so i remain alone most of the time i’m supposed to be making friends. its sad, innit? i always needed time to warm up to someone, like wax to flame. sucks, i know.

so do me a favour, say hi to/for me, and we could work something out.

i think i’m letting go of many things. you, especially. those seconds of serenity were well worth my year-old ache. but then again, was it letting go, or merely setting free. yes there’s a difference. because i didn’t want to lose you. no, not just yet.

they brandished blades sharp as
daggers in their mouths,
turning tornadoes threatening to trim.

it wore its razor feathers on its Red
Indian head, boasted body of slender
figure, flaunting finesse as it spurns dirt.

spitting cold, crashing
punching palms as i raise it towards my face;
menacing to drown my throat dry of
“germs that cause bad breath”
boasting of its antiseptic.

every stalk of rose could bathe blood-red
and yet dance nothing like a bouquet of garden daisies;
beautiful in their symphony.

a single fallen leaf could be tugged by the fingers of wind
but not herald autumn like a sunset twirl
of dried up paper hearts.

as one snowflake couldn’t shiver the trees naked
and like drops on my windowpane,
tears from the clouds which by themselves couldn’t cry rain
we weren’t really alone.

His eyes over the crowds
perched precariously upon a head that was as high as the skies
feet that were clutched on the rock roof
balancing, leaning out atop the
cityscape.

His heart was as hard as his head
but he could watch the crowds pull by
each so stuck in their world, living their own
but forget that they’re walking
side by side.

He could reach out to touch the stars
that they no longer cared of, he could feel the
midnight breeze that they didn’t deign to feel upon
their cheeks.

He was cold and still like steel
but he could shiver in the snow of winter
and taste the flakes on his tongue.

Perhaps, sometimes,
we forget to love and feel the world.

stagnancy beckons

watching the mist by stephen king is depressing ): so basically there are these monster flies, spiders, creepy bugs and octobugs released from a portal created by some government military scientists of another dimension, and their presence is affirmed by mist (hence the naeme). like sci-fi horror noob film.
the main character has four bullets to shoot his friends, one of whom his son, after their only means of escape is exhausted. he proceeds to shoot them. after which he climbs out of the car in anguish and frustration, waiting as he hears the screams of the monsters. then after repeatedly hollering “kill me!”, the mist gradually clears and military tanks roll out of the scene, with trucks carrying the survivors. so yeah. go suicide ):

its quite good though. so many emotions through the movie so that’s good for some late-night filler haha.

disregarding that i just remembered i’m being awful at every thing in life. i’m stagnating but i want some ripples. yeah that could be a lyric-line.

i’ve a feeling this blog should be getting more like a blog ><
class has been refreshingly…good. i can finally cope with what i’m learning (well, decently, not really really good-ish kind of cope) and the laughter i’ve heard is true, the words i hear sound true. true enough to deceive me into this state of satisfaction.
but i’m tired, unknowingly of what and who. probably because sometimes i hear no reply to countless cries, except ringing silence. maybe because not everyone i know i really know. sigh. i really hope this doesn’t last.

nightsky; scattered stars lay awake
twinkling upon faces of admirers.
but could they compare to the beauty of the moon?
the light that was a mirror of day; uncomparable
yet alone, clustered by unfriendly clouds that
shook storm and rain.
but they could never blanket the intensity of her gaze
they could never shake her loose of the sky
for she stayed, till the break of day.

God bless people who bother to rip dvds and share them with the world! That’s real sharing, yarr.
meanwhile, my to-do list still stands before school reopens >.<

1. Get my shuping* on the web. (dreamweaver people i need help ):)
2. Compile abortion arguments for Philo.
3. Start on chinese zhuantizuoye* powerpoint (I really, really hate this one)
4. Read *yuefeizhuan
5. Finish Geog letter and poster.
6. Get a social life.

That’s so much for 4 days.
